Caviar Oil contains the composition and form as it is found in the roe sacs that protect the prized eggs used for the Caviar. This oil has not been changed in any way; the forms of the fatty acids are the Triglyceride and Phospholipid forms. Triglyceride form fats are the most easily recognised form by the body, therefore the body immediately knows how to use it.1 Phospholipid form oils have been tested to be an easily absorbed form of Omega 3 supplementation2.

Fish oil, including Caviar oil, is a rich source of two specific omega 3 fats: Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Both of these fats are not available in a vegetarian diet, it is ALA (Alpha linolenic Acid) that is the omega 3 fatty acid found in walnuts, sunflower seeds etc. Conversion of ALA to EPA and DHA is possible in the body, however the same enzymes also convert Omega 6 LA. In a diet with high quantities of this Omega 6 as it is the case in the western diet, the conversion rates of Omega 3 essential fatty acids are accepted to be low.3

It is well known that the consumption of Omega 3 fatty acids is far below that recommended by public health bodies. The Health and Food Supplement Information Service published the latest dietary trends in June 2019 and found:

“Oily fish intake has changed little and remained consistently below dietary guidelines over the nine years of the recent UK NDNS Rolling Programme. Amongst adults aged 19 to 64 years average oily fish intakes were 54 grams per week – just over one third of a portion.”

Adequate quantities of EPA and DHA are very important for overall health, eating at least 250 mg of EPA and DHA combined per day is accepted to help maintain a normal functioning heart, and 250mg of DHA has been proven to help maintain the normal function of the brain and normal vision.

Many of the amino acids found in NEURIAR® are in ‘short chain ‘peptide’ form which are the foundations and building blocks for all proteins within our bodies.

The caviar water is vacuum distilled at 10% of atmospheric pressure and at boiling point of less than 40 degrees to keep the nutrients and minerals bioactive as well as removing all purities and odours, leaving natural water containing pure vitamin substances to boost the skin. Caviar water is a great ingredient for face mist products because it is supplemented with purities that rejuvenate the skin into a younger, healthier looking façade.

ENZYMES

In May 2019, in collaboration with St Andrews University, Caviar Biotec undertook significant R&D to gain a fuller understanding of the unique extracts and oils that are produced under a globally patent granted process of the sturgeon placenta.

In December 2019 Caviar Biotec discovered that the Caviar Oil and Caviar Extracts both contained a unique novel enzyme biologically similar to a single known Inhibitor of human protease. Since March 2020 Caviar Biotec has successfully isolated, purified and sequenced the novel enzyme, and has also discovered other bioactive enzymes that are present within Caviar Biotec’s oils and extracts.

In December 2020 Caviar Biotec commissioned Oxford University to under take key analysis of the MS LC generated datasets by Atlatl in both Maxquant and Mascot, as well as other leading databases. In January 2021 Oxford University provided concise datasets of key bioactive enzymes that are present in the extract and oil produced by Caviar Biotec. In December 2020 Caviar Biotec commissioned Oxford University to under take key analysis of the MS LC generated datasets by Atlatl in both Maxquant and Mascot, as well as other leading databases, which in turn creates a significant footprint for the ongoing R&D program of Caviar Biotec and its quest to develop novel biologics for Human health benefits.
